Information about recent changes to the Work Planner are provided here. Changes are typically made for these reasons:
To address feedback from users
For resolving system- or content-related bugs
To address the changing reporting needs of the organisation

2020-10-01: Adjusted user interface to reduce likelihood of users choosing 'Add new work' unnecessarily. This link is moved to the Schedule page.
2020-09-30: Added ability for Admin users to adjust User email addresses.
2020-07-20: Adjusted Help video section to include 'updates'. Added new video about best practice for scheduling works. Watch now [7:55]
2020-07-01: Data load for 2020-21. Empty plans created with default work items set up for use.
2020-06-11: Introduced specific column filters in the footer of Activities table. This is useful for filtering by Tag only (e.g. only IPA activities). Can be combined with 'Export' option to provide useful downloads for offline users.
2020-06-10: Included Outputs data into popups. Added 'Delete schedules' option on Work Details page. Introduced 'Export' option on tables, with specific customisation for Activities tables.
2020-03-02: Significant changes to the MERI module, including development of scorecards for Key Values and Indicator Classes. Introduction of 'Assessment reminders' on Group Checklist.
2020-02-18: Added a 'Work notes' feature. This allows a specific note to be included with any Scheduled item of Work. For example, users creating a Plan can describe specifically what needs to happen on a day. Watch now [4min54sec]
2020-02-06: Added symbol into Plan Calendar to show the presence of an Output for any Scheduled work. This will help when doing reporting and knowing what has been filled out.
2020-01-14: Added 'Checklist' summary for tracking which Works and Activities need their reporting updated. Moved Reminders onto this new page.
2020-01-10: Improved options on Overview page for multiple months and filtering out non-Admin Activities.
2019-10-07: Group 'Overview' page introduced, for monthly overview of reported progress/achievement.
2019-09-24: Additional user interface build for Add/Edit/Delete of Indicators and Assessments in the MERI section.
2019-09-11: Additional filtering tools were introduced on the Plan Details page, to help users focus on the work of most interest (within the yearly plan).
2019-06-03: Data load for 2019-20 and change to default plan setup. Plans are now annual, as opposed to six-weekly.
2019-02-27: Improved simplicity, consistency and appearance of Activities listing.
2019-02-25: Changed Activity Details page to have tabbed sections. Activities can now have Files attached.
2019-02-19: Made it possible to 'Add Outputs' from Activity page (assuming there is an existing Work item and Plan).
2019-02-04: Fields added to Activities to allow storage of information about TEK connections and data management approaches to be used.
2019-01-31: Added Reports entity to Activities, so that a full history of reporting can be clearly seen. The most recent Report Status is now used to define the overall Activity Status.
2019-01-24: Introduced MERI concepts into Work Planner, to help align Activities with organisation-wide Targets and Strategies.
2019-01-21: Adjusted display of long descriptions (for Work, Activites and Plans) so they lay out prominently near top of page.
2019-01-18: Improved bubble popups, so that links redirect users to correct day/person they has clicked on (when editing Schedules). Added ability to enter Outputs from bubbles.
2019-01-17: Added display of 'Last modified' information to listings of Work (in a Plan) and Outputs (for a Work item).
2019-01-16: Removed Work Report. All reporting against Work is now done via Outputs. Outputs can be simple comments, or also have a numerical measure and associate digital file (e.g. photo).
2019-01-10: Renamed Targets to Expected Outputs. This change was made to reduce confusion and improve use.
2018-12-14: Adjusted user interface to improve consistency and usability. More tools/links shown on the left side of screen.

2018-10-10: Improved print layout of Plans to more neatly list people, dates and essential work details.
2018-10-09: User management now allows for Users to be locked out, thereby keeping their existing data intact while removing access to the system. The tool for setting/replacing Resources has updated documentation.
2018-10-03: A 'Duplicate activity' option is now available on the Activity details page. This is useful to managers wanting to create a similar Activity for multiple Groups.
2018-09-18: The listing of Works and their details/status has been adjusted slightly to improve readability.
2018-09-11: Work status is now represented as 'Not started', 'In progress' or 'Completed' rather than with a progress bar. Activity status is still shown with the percentage complete progress bar.
2018-09-11: Bug fixes. Empty status reports are now possible. Excess space in descriptions/reports are now automatically trimmed.
2018-09-11: Adjusted the logic regarding the display of 'other work' within a Plan. This now avoids listing out excessive amounts of other work that People from other Groups are involved in. The calendar view of a Plan now shows the bubbles for 'other work' faded out.
2018-09-03: Made it possible to hide 'inactive' Groups. Adjusted layout of how a Work item is shown in listings and bubble popups.
2018-07-27: Tightened rules about when Work can be Scheduled. Now it is only permitted within the dates of the Activity and the Plan. It cannot be scheduled on overdue Activities.
2018-07-23: Made the Activity Detail text searchable to help find relevant Activities in the listing.
2018-02-08: Removed ability for Manager Users to create/edit Activities and Targets. Managers can still report on Activity Status.
